Shillong Night Teer is a traditional archery-based number game managed by the Khasi Hills Archery Sports Institute (K.H.A.S.I). It is deeply connected to the cultural heritage of Meghalaya and follows a transparent system of result generation.
Every day, approximately 30 to 50 experienced archers participate in the game, shooting multiple arrows at a fixed target at the Polo Ground in Shillong.
After the shooting session, the total number of arrows hitting the target is counted. The last two digits of this total determine the official result.
Two rounds are conducted daily:
• First Round: Around 8:45 PM
• Second Round: Around 9:45 PM
